THE LEGEND

In a remote time, in a place of the Earth we disowned, when in the world the first realms appeared, there was a population able to develop their faculties' mental.
Well as discoveries and inventions, they developed an evolution in the dream activity; the dream did materialize, allowing to enter a different dimension. 
From one of these enchanted places, Clorinda - the Queen of the woods - appears: she arrives with his elves, to preserve and enforce the nature of the forests around the world.

CLORINDA: THE QUEEN OF THE WOODS

The name Clorinda derives from the Greek "Khloròs", that means green, like the color of grass and plants in the woods.

From these places, where the water of lakes and rivers takes the color of nature, the basic elements have been selected to represent the known faculties' of the queen of the woods.

The backbone of the figure is formed by vertical tubes, bent in art, representing the branches of trees, where flows the sap which nourishes leaves and flowers.
The bark is represented by strips of copper that unite and give shape to the figure.
These bands are deliberately applied, leaving the space to make the picture incomplete, thus representing 'the right' of the queen to appear and disappear.

 

THE WORK CLORINDEA

The author, in order to remember the essential value of the nature in all the countries of the world, has chosen to coined the word "clorindea" - female deities of the green (Khloròs = green; Dea = deity) - to indicate a type of art depicting human figures or animals, made of metal or alloy, having a skeleton formed by tubes bent and welded with art, and  a skin formed by bands applied piece by piece.

The main aspect of the work has an artistic value: the function of the radiator heat, through the passage of fluids in the pipes of copper, is the functional aspect, not immediately visible.

May also be a function of lighting with lamps positioned inside the formation.

The ability to combine creativity, technical knowledge of thermal and intense manual labor makes the project very challenging.
The entire work is done manually and therefore each figure is unique.

IMPRESSIONS

Amazon, medieval personage of northern Europe in an atmosphere of sounds of harps and drums, soldier of ancient Asian civilizations ... these are the first impressions!
By adding some decorative elements, it may look like an American Indian woman or an Hawaiian girl wearing the traditional local skirt.

The observation of the photo in the figure, dipped in different shades of green, gave birth to positive feelings in common to several people, such as the calm, the wonder and warmth.
Sensations allegedly sent by a sense of unity and harmony that transpire from the figure.
It should be interesting to try to observe the photo for various time and check the chromotherapy effects.
